We are delighted to announce that the 4th International Symposium of the Society for Research on the Cerebellum (SRC) will be held in Tokyo (Sanjo Kaikan at The University of Tokyo) on September 18 following the 34th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society. SRC was established to promote the research activities on the Cerebellum. In the 4th International Symposium of SRC, excellent Symposia focusing on the leading edge of the researches on the Cerebellum, covering from the fundamental mechanisms of the functions of the Cerebellum through the therapeutic approaches based on molecular mechanisms of the diseases affecting the Cerebellum, are planned inviting excellent researchers in this field. In the past decades, we have achieved tremendous advances in better understanding the mechanisms of the functions of the Cerebellum. We have also achieved marvelous achievements in better understanding of the mechanisms of diseases affecting the Cerebelleum, and are now prepared to translate the achievements into efficacious treatment. We sincerely hope all of us working on the Cerebellum will join the 4th International Symposium of SRC to share and discuss the leading edge of the researches on the Cerebellum.
